A properly built driveway — right base, 32 MPa air-entrained mix, correct joints and sealing — typically lasts 25 to 40 years in the GTA. The base and drainage matter more than anything you can see from the street.
You can usually walk on new concrete within 24–48 hours, but hold off on vehicles for about 7 days, and heavy loads for a full cure. We'll give you exact timing for your pour and the weather.
Driveways and patios often don't, but replacements that change grade or drainage, and anything structural like foundations, can. We check for your municipality and pull permits as part of the job.
